AI Eyes Smarter Pool Management

CamerEye CamerEye pool building AI monitoring system and builder portal product in box on table
Looking for a way to simplify pool construction monitoring and management on your job sites? Smarter pool construction monitoring and management tools are here with this complete video camera pool safety system and builder portal

Advanced technology opens many doors for pool and spa contractors, including improving building techniques to be more sustainable and efficient and enhancing monitoring capabilities and safety on job sites. To this end, a tech option for pool builders is CamerEye, a new company and product featuring an AI-video camera pool safety system and builder portal. CamerEye's functionality transitions from the start of the pool build, through construction and alarm inspection to providing ongoing pool safety for homeowners after the job is done.

"We designed CamerEye from the ground up for the pool industry to monitor, detect, and alert for what matters the most, both on the job site and for homeowners' pool safety after the job is done," says Sai Reddy, CEO and founder of CamerEye. "The system adds an important extra layer of safety that goes beyond construction and inspection without compromising standards, budgets or bottom lines."

The company's builder portal is designed for pool builders seeking streamlined job oversight and project management. The smart AI-video camera system and portal allow builders to monitor all job sites and construction progress from start to finish.

Optimizing efficiency and safety with a single system

CamerEye provides real-time video, analytics and recorded time-lapse video of construction progress, personnel activity, equipment security and photo/video documentation—enhancing safety and quality control while reducing effort and expenses, says the company.

Live video monitoring 24/7 provides insight into multiple jobs at all times. CamerEye says remote oversight capabilities help with quality assessment; may minimize supervisor visits to job sites, and allow easy monitoring of crews, subcontractors and supplies.

Time-lapse video and photo documentation records and tracks each stage of construction from excavation to shotcrete to pool opening, according to the company. Recordings and downloadable videos provide an added layer of accountability as well as job site material and equipment security, which could reduce the risk of liability and litigation.

Unlike motion-based traditional monitoring cameras and pool alarms, CamerEye is a complete AI camera-based safety system that uniquely offers human and pet-only detection and alerts, notifying when personnel is on the job, construction is in progress, and if children and pets are near the pool perimeter. The system does all of this while reducing false alerts of other moving objects, says the company.

For pool safety inspections, CamerEye meets ASTM F2208-08 pool safety standards. The company says it complies with pool barrier laws in 33 states and can replace door alarms, floating pool alarms and in-pool splash alarms.

Once a project is complete, builders can pass on the already-installed camera system to homeowners. The system provides 24/7 monitoring, detecting and alerting for humans and pets in and around the water, and provides distress detection with AI cameras.
